A Killer Night at The Moonflower Club: A speakeasy murder mystery dinner

Step back into the roaring ’20s this Halloween season for a night of glamour, mystery, and intrigue at The Moonflower Club. On Nov. 1, Ry's Table transforms into a Prohibition-era garden hideout, where secrets flow as freely as cocktails—and someone won't make it out alive.

Your evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a welcome to the garden. Costumes are highly encouraged, but the only requirement is curiosity (and maybe a good poker face 😉).

Here's what to expect:

• Murder mystery game: Set at the height of Prohibition, you'll join 30 guests stepping into character to unravel the crime. New to murder mysteries? No problem—first-timers are especially welcome! You’ll get everything you need to play your role, and the fun is in the mix of personalities, not performance skills.

• Family-style supper club: A grazing style feast crafted in Ry’s hideaway outdoor kitchen. Expect a menu that celebrates the season and Atlanta’s finest local growers, butchers, farmers, and artisans.

• Optional cocktail pairings: Add $25 to add on speakeasy-style themed cocktails.

The Hosts

Behind the scenes, your ringleaders for the evening are Nikki Hughes (JustAskNikki) and Penn Hansa —two locals who know that nothing brings people together quite like a murder! Veterans of hosting and playing murder mysteries, they’ve seen firsthand how intrigue, roleplay, and a little competitive sleuthing can turn strangers into co-conspirators (and otherwise mild-mannered friends into outrageous 1920s gangsters).

Expect laughs, antics, and just the right amount of chaos as Nikki and Penn guide you into the world of The Moonflower Club.
